How to activate previous and next record buttons

Hi all

when i bind data to the matix, first data record previous record,next record,last data record buttons are inactive.How to acitivate them.

Hi,

I would appriciate if you could shed some lights on the original question, how to activate the previous,last,first and next record on a simple form created using screen painter.

I took the following steps:

_ Created a Master data object. (Tried it with the Document object too, no joy yet)

_ Using object Registeriation wizard, registered the MasterData object abd set the table name to my master data table.

_ Using Screen painter created a simple form, linking the only edit box on the form to the DocEntry field. (in the case of Master data , this edit box field was linked to 'Code' field.)

_ load the srf(xml) and can add or find the entries.

but all the naviagator buttons are dimmed.

Any help will be much appriciated.

I found the answer.

its the oForm.DataBrowser.BrowseBy property which needs to be set by the required box name. for example: "txtCode1"
