sop for traiding company

Hi All,

iam new in pp,My client is in traiding not in manufacturing ,they need to config system for mid term & long term planning with mrp run for procurement only instead of production.how we can map in system.can provide steps.

can we do sop without production planning,what will be the flow?

If any body having document on sop please provide me.
