Issue Commitment Carry forward for PO

Eli / Mar / Vanessa / Others:

When we tried to carry forward a bunch of POs through FMJ2, we noticed that for POs that have multiple account assignments, a commitment carryfwd document is created for each account assignment. Is this how it is supposed to work?

Secondly, when you execute the transaction, for POs with multiple account assignments we noticed that not all carry forward documents are created in the first run. We have to re-run those documents again to generate the remaining carry fwd document.

For example if a PO has 3 account assignments - Fund1, FC1, FuncArea1, CommitItem1 / Fund2, FC2, FuncArea2, CommitItem2 / Fund3, FC3, FuncArea3, CommitItem3.

Then when we run fmj2, carry fwd documents are created ffor Fund1, FC1, FuncArea1, CommitItem1 and Fund2, FC2, FuncArea2, CommitItem2 in the first run. When we run it again, it creates a carry fwd document for Fund3, FC3, FuncArea3, CommitItem3.

This becomes a problem when u deal with 100s of documents and when you cannot really find out which ones are done and which ones are not.

Is this common? Is there a way around this problem?

Let me know.

Thanks.
