Hi Experts,
Benefit deductions of retro periods are not being included in the retro-payroll run.
We have LTD Benefit Deduction wagetype 2140 = x % of /190
During retro payroll run, wagetype 2140 is not including the deduction amts in the retro-periods.
Is there a way out.
Regards,
Somdeb.
Somdeb,
Check the arrears processing value in Table V_51P6_B. Is wage type 2140 set to u201CAll or nothingu201D for arrears processing? If so, is there enough net pay to deduct it all?

Howard

Hi Howard,
Thanks for the response. Wage type 2140 is set to u201CAll or nothingu201D for arrears processing.
Please let me describe the situation:
/190 = WT 1270 + 1200
LTD Benefit Deduction Wagetype 2140 = x % of /190
Emp's last payroll run: pp 07.2011
Now Emp goes on long Leave.
Emp is alotted Vacation Pay WT 1270 = 40 hrs in pp 08.2011 Payroll is not run in this pp.
Emp joins in pp 12.2011 -> Regular Pay WT 1200 alotted = 20 hrs is alotted
Payroll is run for pp 12.2011
Requirement : Wagetype /190 in pp 14.2011 should include the amt in WT 1270 ( pp 08.2011 ) + WT 1200 (pp 12.2011)
Only then will wagetype 2140 include deductions for pp 08 + pp 12.2011
As of now, /190 is only including the amt in WT 1200 (pp 12.2011).
Can you please help.
Looks like you need to do forced retro.
When you run payroll, does it go back to PP 08?
If not go to IT0003 and change the earliest MD change field to start date of PP 08.
Also, you said WT 2140 is set to ALL or NOTHING. What is the value in Retro field for the same wage type. Set it to 1 and then run the payroll.
