The diffrence between MC.5 and MC46

I know that MC.5 is for storage location analysis, and MC46 is for slow moving items. All slow moving items are in the same material group. When I run MC.5 with the this specific material group, the list of materials that I get is 32 with stock value of $ 428 759,88. When I run MC46 for the same material group, the materials are 362 and value is $ 9.776.973,61. What I mainly want to find out, is how many slow moving items I have in this material group, and what is the value of these materials. Which report give me the true values.

in mc46 you can enter material group in the selection screen. so can get list of slow moving items for that material group

Without having a look in your system it is hard to say what can be the reason for that.

you have to know that the master data changes does not reflect automatically in inventory controlling.

I suggest you to set up the report RMCBNE32 as periodical (e.g. monthly) background job.

it also would be good to compare the walues in table S032 and MBEW for those materials. This also can be a reason for a difference. The values mus be the same on plant level.
