Creating new sales company in SAP IDES

Hello guys,

I am using SAP IDES for the first time and i want to customise things for demo purposes.

Here is the scenario of what I would love to do.

Sales Product I want to sell

When I create an Inquiry in VA11, I want to sell a product called the Delphix Dynamic Data Platform which is a software appliance.

Sold by

Delphix in either the UK, EMEA or US, I dont mind.

I want Delphix to be able to sell the product to anyone globally.

So, I want to create an Inquiry in VA11, A quotation (VA21) by reference to the inquiry, a sales order(VA01) from the quote and an outbound delivery note in V0LN.

How do I put Delphix in as the sales org and the product they sell in to IDES to make this possible ?

Hey Wayne,

You need to complete the basic configuration of FI and SD if you wanted to create sales order for new company code also open the period from MM!

I don't see any specific challenge in meeting this requirement. If you are not a SD consultant, please search in SCN / Google what are the pre-requisites to create a sale order. This is a basic standard configuration you need to adopt and while searching, I am sure, you will get more inputs based on which, you can try in IDES.
