Active Cost center in Asset Master data

Hi,

When creating the Asset master data, the user sometimes update an inactive/blocked cost center and this will be noticed only at the time of Depreciation run. Is there a way to notify the User at the time of creating/changing the Asset master data that the Cost center is blocked.

Do you have any solution for this?

Hi,

I don't think there is an option to notifiy the user while changing the cost center in a standard way.

1) Go for an enhancement in asset master at create/change level or you can try validation user exit at asset master level (GGB0)

2) Create a query linking ANLZ and CSKS to bring out locked cost centers which are assigned in asset master. This report has to be executed before depreciation run.
