SAP CPS Servers use UTC - how do we manage the multiple different Time Zones that are used Globally when scheduling jobs?

Current version of Redwood is Build: M33.110-76019

Hi Donna,

Whenever you schedule a job you can specify the time zone the job should observe. In the UI you specify in your user settings in which Time Zone you want to view them all.

I didn't state my question very well; this is the current issue.

Issues with the start time of batch jobs in our SAP system, after the shift in time due to day light saving. According to our system set up,a batch job 00:05:00 CET every day. It was working fine until the end of September. Later when we had this time shift due to day light saving, the job is starting at 23:05:00 CET on the previous day( One hour earlier than the normal time). This is causing the availability check to confirm incorrect date on the schedule lines and failing to create deliveries at the right moment.

The same thing is happening in other Time Zones as well. SAP has suggested that we use the Preserve times on the Submit Frame but
that is not available at our current version of Redwood Build: M33.110-76019.

Hello,

This issue should only occur with jobs that have a submit interval between every 2 hours and every 12 hours and indeed then you can set the preserve times item on the Submit Frame.

Alternatively you can set the Start Time field on the submit frame to 00:05 here. That has the same effect.

If you have a daily job with this behavior than either the job is scheduled in a Time Zone that does not observe daylight saving time OR your UI time zone does not.
