Hi,
According to note 1591971 we can set a property in the advanced parameters in the file/ftp communication channel
The note says the property is called "strictHostnameChecking" .
I wonder if this is the correct notation. Does anyone know this for sure?
It could also be like "ftp.strictHostnameChecking" or "FTP.strictHostnameChecking" or similar.
Hope someone can give definitive answer.
Regards
Robert
To anyone reading this question and answers:
In my case the error message on the communication channel: "..certificate rejected by ChainVerifier.." was misleading. Because there was nothing wrong with the certificates.
And the parameter in this note is relevant for the main step in the SSL process. That is to say the first step would be the handshake, the second the sending of the logon data, the 3rd step the sending of the certificate and the fourth step the exchange of data. (in the fourth step another port is used and that leads to an error message which is not correct)
Hope this helps for future searches
Regards
Robert

Hello Robert,
There is no need to add 'ftp' or 'FTP' before 'strictHostnameChecking'.
