Filter dynamically on last month possible?

Environment: SAC on BW 7.50 SP11 on HANA

I want to create a calculated measure in a chart to select efforts of last month dynamically.

This means I don´t want to select a certain month as a member of the dimension, but to select it relatively to the current date.

To achieve this I´ve tried the following:

Then I want to define the time range “last month”.

I found an option for current month …

… but no option to select the last month (or last year).

I´ve tried to select Granularity = Month. There I could set the option “Look Back” to 1 to start from Jan 2019. But in the “Look Ahead” field I couldn´t enter -1 to the range for the last month.

Finally, I couldn´t find any option to select the time period last month (or last year).

Is this a restriction? Could this be only solved in the BW query itself at the moment?

If this is a case, I´d see this as a big restriction for self service BI for business users.

Any experiences regarding this topic are welcome 😊

Answer from SAP Product Management: This is currently a known restriction. In the meanwhile such requirements needs to be solved in the source BW query directly.
