Building a crosstab based on two different universes

Hello,

I have two crosstabs based on different universes that give me the result I need.

I need to combine these two crosstabs and need to sum up the values of each column.

My problem is that the two initial crosstabs are based on different universes ...

Any ideas how this can be done in BusinessObjects without using another tool?

Can you help?

Henning

Check below link to understand the concept of merge dimension in Webi.If you have mutplie queries in webi report either from single source or multiple source, you can combine the data in single table/cross tab/ chart thorugh merged dimension.

Hi Henning,

You can merge dimensions directly in Web Intelligence (c.f. Merging data from dimensions and hierarchies). In your example, after executing both your queries and switching to Design mode, go to Data Access and click "Merge". Select both your variables from the list of available objects. Now build a new cross table with your "new" merged dimension.

Kind regards,

Tom
