AIF Application log deleted automatically after few days

I have successfully configured AIF for inbound interface and I am able to see the messages in /AIF/ERR.

But when I tried to check the old messages it is giving error as "No Log found in the database".

The log messages are deleted automatically after few days. How can I prevent this? I need log messages to be there for later monitoring and should not be deleted.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi Jaymin,

the default lifetime of application logs for AIF is 90 days. Which version of AIF are you using? There was an error which lead to an earlier deletion of the logs which has been solved (see note 2685460).

Nevertheless you have the possibility to set the Lifetime of Application Log for every AIF interface.

You can find the feature in the customizing -> SAP Application Interface Framework -> Interface Development -> Define Interfaces.

Thank you for the information.

At least it should work for default value which is 90 days but my logs are deleted may be around 8-10 days. I will check the above note and ask the basis to implement the same. I am not able to check the version of my AIF but I guess it's AIF 3.0 as I am using /AIF/SETUP to create the number ranges.
