warehouse stock in item master data is different from warehouse stock in ba

Hi ,

One of our client uses SAP B1 2007B PL 18. For one of the batch managed item say item A, it shows the stock in warehouse X to be 18 in item master data. But when i look at the batch transaction report it shows the same stock 18 in warehouse Y. How do i rectify this issue. Please advice.

How its possible that in Item Master Data system showing stock in X warehouse and in another report its showing stock in Y.

I think you are doing some mistake while refeing the Batch transaction report.

It has various parameters so please select the correct parameter then see the stock............

Hi Gokul,

Check the Item Posting report to see if there is something that pops out in the report. I saw something similar 2 yrs ago and ended up having SAP Support fix the database. We suspect that the batch field on the IMD record was temporarily removed and re-added to the record, with transactions in between.

Thanks for your reply. I have run the batch and serial inconsistency query from sap notes and it gave me result. Thus I have raised a ticket in SAP Portal.
