Play a prompt before voicemail

Hi Gurus,

We had customizing a prompt (Service Close Message) and it worked fine. Now we make the setting about voicemail for the same queue.

After that when the Queue is closed the call is forwarding to Voicemail but the prompt for service close message is not play.

We need to give some information to callers before to send the call to voicemail.

How can we do it?

Hi Fernando,

I see here two possible solutions:

1. Edit and add your message to the standard .wav voicemail message directly on the server side: ...\VU\<VU_PSTN>\prompts\Voicemail\Msg\<language>

The con of this is that this message is assigned to every each queues with this specific language.

2. Create your own Voicemail IVR as a Custom IVR in the System Configurator and build on it the entire message logic to play and record voicemail functionality.

After that from the queue parameters level you would make a transfer when service closed not to VOICEMAIL, but to the number of your Voicemail IVR directly.
