Question:
How to force EPM to allow other load/enabled addins to start when Excel EPM is started via web's quicklaunch shortcut?
When using Internet Explorer to start EPM via quicklaunch shortcuts, EPM (Analysis for Office 2.7) initiates Excel without any other addins---only AO/EPM loads. No defaults have been changed, for example this is in the registry:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SAP.AO.Xl.Launch\shell\Open\command
"C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\Office AddIn\BiOfficeLauncher.exe" /app XLS /launchfile "%1"
My understanding is that this default will permit other addins to also load when EPM is started from the web's quicklaunch---however, EPM is blocking all other addins from loading even though those addins are set to load/enable (and would otherwise start when opening Excel outside of EPM's quicklaunch web shortcut.
Additionally, any workbook in my XLSTART folder is not opening when starting Excel via EPM quicklaunch shortcut in IE. Those WBs do open when opening Excel without using quicklauch.
Chrome does not exhibit this behavior. My other addins DO load when clicking the EPM quicklaunch shortcuts in Chrome.
