0fc_ci_01 cleared items data source

Hi Experts,

I am Using BW 3.5

I am extracting full load every month from Cleared Items data source (0fc_ci_01) since go live. Approximately 70 millions of data is being loaded every month into ISU to BW.

Procedure which I am Following is as follows:

I run a Mass run(fetches data from golive date to current date) to populate intermediate staging tables in IS-U

Once this is completed I start extraction to BW with different ranges which takes approximately 8-9 working days.

Now my question is Can I do psuedo Delta every month after One Full load.

Will it be feasible for this data source (0fc_ci_01).

Please Give me some insight into this.

Warm Regards,

Nanduri Aditya

Hi Srinivas,

But Evry month I do full load specifying date ID and identification ID in info package.

anyways Its not badly required to automate it . Once in month I do it.

So, I understand psuedo delta is feasible for standard "cleared Items" data source (0fc_ci_01).

Thanks a lot for your help.

Warm regards.

Hi Srinivas,

Thanks for your reply.

As I mentioned I do Mass run every month so all the new and changed records will be populated in staging table DFKKCIBW and these records are identified with Date ID and Identification ID which give at the time running mass run.

Do I still need to write a routine? or can I give selection criteria (Date ID and Identification ID).

I m planning to load these records to ODS and then further update to infocubes. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Warm Regards,

Nanduri Aditya.

If you have incremental date & Identification ID then you can add selections in Infopackage

Ex. date 12.02.2010 to 28.7.2010

ID 11000 to 200000

This way you can do it manually every time but you can't make it automation .. if you write routine at IP based on date id it will extract delta records(fake delta) you can autoamte this process

You can achieve this by psuedo Delta

If you have date field in the DS which captures changed and new as well records then you can Write a routine at infopackage level to read TVARVC table and update load date in TVARVC table and for next load it reads the load date from TVARVC and extracts data after that date to till date and again it updates today's date in TVARVC table....
