Invalid login when trying to logon to Nakisa

Hello Nakisa Experts,

We have installed Nakisa version STVN 2.1 SP1 on CE SAP application server. I configured to use the logon screen for OrgChart security settings connected to our ECC system. I am getting invalid logon when trying to logon. I have verified a connection does get established to the ECC system. I do not see any errors in the log file. The CDS logfile contains the following,

Have you verified authorizations are sufficient? If unsure, you can still use ST01 to run a trace on RFC and auth checks...

By the way, OrgModeler works just fine but we are having the issue with OrgChart.

Hi Mike,

You've just made me ethink of something. Does the user logging into OrgChart have a SAP role that is mapped to an OrgChart role? If not then you need to either:

1. Map the user's SAP role (and other user's SAP roles) to an application role in RoleMapping.xml

2. Go into SettingResources.xml and change AllowValidRolesOnly (or something very similar to that) to False

This last option means no roles need to be mapped - as long as the user can login to SAP they can login to OrgChart.
