No Item cost was found - Goods Issue

I have a product which is no longer in store and am trying to do a goods issue for it. Please see below message as I cannot do it: "No item cost was found [Goods issue - Rows- Warehouse Code][line: 1] , 'BFBH004f' [Message 173-112]

I have checked the warehouse this item refers to thinking is was ticked for 'Manage Stock by Warehouse' and an item cost defined but this does not seem to be the case. I have seen similar articles on the forum but these tend to relate to de-selecting the 'Allow Stock release without item cost'. I'm just a little concerned as to what knock affect this is likely to have with stock currently controlled by FIFO.
