Configuration of Evaluation Group5

Hi,

I am managing Asset Accounting as FICO user (from acquisition till retirement). Can I maintain evaluation group5 my self in production server? My ERP department are saying that OAVA rights can not be given as it is a configuration. We are maintaining classification within asset class thru evaluation group5. (like, projector, switches-8 port, switches-48 prot, IP Phone, Blackberry etc.) But when any new item is procured i don't get specific category to put in asset master. Please guide is it possible to give this OAVA rights to me in production so that I maintain the data integrity. If yes please explain the process so that same can be shared with my ERP team.

Presently I am maintaining sort variant (thru T.Code OAVI) which looks similar to OAVA, for which I have the rights.
