Rejected records not loaded in subsequent run with delta package .

Hello Experts,

In our project, we have delta transaction loads scheduled to run daily. However, in one of the BPC models during these delta loads whenever data is rejected due to missing Material ID, the rejected data is not retained and not loaded in the subsequent run even if the material is present in BPC next day. Hence, we must load the missing data by manually running the standard import package and this works for us.

We checked the SAP notes 2154655, 2321011 & 2093127 and found that they have become obsolete as our system is on SAP_BW 750 ,SP 0006. In one of the notes, it was mentioned that if data is rejected at write back phase then only it will be retained for next run and if it is rejected at convert phase it will not be retained for next run. SAP has confirmed that in our case, data is getting rejected at convert phase and they don't have a permanent fix for it and can advise to use the approach to manually trigger the standard import package in such cases. They also advised us to raise the issue at market place, in order to have any custom solutions, if in place and is being used by any expert. Has anybody faced the same issue in their projects and is there any alternate solution available for this issue so that manual intervention can be avoided? Kindly share your valuable inputs.

Regards,

Good Day Vadim ,

Thanks for your response.

We have changed the option for VALIDATERECORDS=YES to VALIDATERECORDS=NO in our transformation file of delta loads as mentioned in https://answers.sap.com/questions/465314/rejected-records-not-being-reloaded-in-bpc-101-del.html This seems to be working for us and the missed records are getting submitted in next delta run.

Regards,

May be it's better to prevent missing Material ID?
