workitem is visible in a different user's inbox but not in reqds one

Experts

I have a issue,

Where I am triggering a standard workflow WS14500044 and i am sending the agents through a BADI.

Here the issue is : to whom so ever i have assigned the agents(manager role) in the badi are getting the work item in SRM inbox but they are not getting the workitems in their portal inbox but a different user with the same manager role is getting the work item in there inbox.

Workitem : Agent Assignment : General Task is maintained.

MKT1 - not getting work item in portal inbox with the same manager role but he is getting SRM inbox.

But a different user is getting the same work item for approval in portal inbox and who has similar roles.

i have checked at all the possible stages, but i am unable to determine the issue

please help me in this regards as my entire workflow is stuck for the same.
