How are records identified for Delta extraction using extractor 0PRODUCT_ATTR?

Hi, I am trying to find out how records are identified for delta extraction using extractor 0PRODUCT_ATTR. We have found we are missing records in this extractor from changes made via batch processing by user “Background User Functional CRM Jobs”, where the background job has changed the status of a product. I am thus trying to determine why these records are missing, assuming that some record in an update table has not been written, or a change date not applied correctly. Any assistance is appreciated.
