Hi Folks,

Im working on some Transaction Types - Where my requirement for actions in the Tool box has to be as follows :

1. When the Transaction is in Open status - Actions in the Tool box should display only 2 actions

2. When the Transaction is in Inprocess status - Actions in the Tool box should be of 3 actions which is should not display the actions for the Open status - i means to say , it should not display the actions appears in the Open status - would like to see the 3 more actions.

3. When the Transaction is in Released or completed status - it should display the different actions which should not display before status actions.

I would like to configure the actions in such a way , depending upon the status - Actions should be displayed in the Tool box.

Please do guide me with your valueable inputs.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Amrita

Answer to your question:

Are you sure if i set the schedule condition that this action should be displayed in the Toolbox for only A status and it will be displayed if the status is B.

IS 100% YES. Action will only be displayed for A and not for B if you set conditions properly.

I don t undertand why blog is not OK, since you re not supposed to do the exact same as in the blog but just use it as an example to understand the principle and how to use the condition editor of sppfcadm transaction

Please try what specified in blog (adapted to your requirement) and let us know if you re facing any other problem

Hey Amrita,

response to your question is in the blog mentionned in my previous post.

Let me exmplain more. to make it easy we ll have the above considerations

you have status A, B, C

for A you want to have access to actions A1, A2; from B B1 & B2 and from C actions C1 & C2

you ll have to (like showed in the blog)

make A1 & A2 available at status A (id of status A is something like E00xx you ll find info in table TJ30 - transaction se16). So you ll have to declare a schedule condition for actions A1 and A2 where user status = E00XX (the one that points to status A)

Same for actions B1,B2,C1 & C2. Please take a look to blog at the condition definition section.

If you need more clarifications do not hesitate asking !!

best regards

Hi Khalill,

Let me appreciate for your patience in responding to me .

I guess the blog which you have sent will not suits to my requirement , i hope it will be helpful a little bit.

But what i came to knew from your response - Do you think i could really able to met my requirement by setting it up in the Schedule conditions of the Action profile.

Are you sure if i set the schedule condition that this action should be displayed in the Toolbox for only A status and it will be displayed if the status is B.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Go to transaction SPPFCADM

Select CRM_ORDER. Click on Condition Configuration.

Select your Action Profile.

Select your action on right hand side column. At the bottom, Select Schedule Condtion tab.

Click Edit condition.

There you can create condition with the user status. (In your case the first two actions will have same conidtion User Status <= E0001)

Similarly formulate schedule condition for each action based on the status.

Hope this solves your problem.

Feel free to revert back.

Hello Amrita,

you should define schedule conditions for your actions regarding your reqiurements: meaning using input Status Value

In transaction SPPFCADM, go into condition definition part and for your action profile and define schedule conditions (tx to the editor) according to system status.

(you can take a look to this blog : /people/riccardo.escher/blog/2009/08/21/pep-up-your-charm--part-1-howto-create-a-smart-e-mail-action at the section condition)

I hope I am not misunderstanding your requests cause usually people set conditions based on user status and not system status

Hi Khalil / Raghu ,

Thanks for your prompt response. Let me bring you some more clarity on my requirment with example.

Assuming a Ticket has been created and it is in the Open status - Now the Support team or Key User feels that it is related to Development - he should have the option for Set to Development or Change manager Approval as the Actions in the Tool box.

At the second stage Inprocess status - Assuming , Development completed - So developer should have the option for Moved to Testing team or Development in progress. He should not see any other options other than these two actions in the Tool box.

At the third stage XXXXX Status - Test team shoud have only the option - Testing Successful or Testing failure.

Like the above status with the actions i m looking for.

so do suggest me with your experience and do the needuful

Thank you

Amrita
