SAP BI EXP(A1) want ro shift to SAP R3(BI)

Dear All I am Having 1 years of Exp in SAP BI(A1) now i want to shift to SAP BI R3,

Is there any difference between there functionality ,is my Exp in A1 is taken in SAP R3
