Explanation of terms in Bank account G/L Structure

Hello friends,

I need some clarification on couple of terms related to Bank Account G/L Structure please. from what I have been reading, one of the things SAP offers is the flexibility to determine how much confirmed cash, Floating Cash out, and Floating cash in. I am not an accounting person, so can anyone explain/point to me in the right direction about these terms?
