Error on Delete of AppSet

I am trying to delete an AppSet in version 4.2 sp3 and am receiving the following error "<AppSet> is in use. It can not be deleted.". Does anyone have any ideas what may be the problem? The DBA confirmed no connections to the database and there are no users logged in. Thought I would ask before I attempted to delete manually per SAP note 1106829.
