Crystal Report transport from DEV to QA

Hi,

We are unable to view the crystal reports in BW "Content work Bench administration" which are transported from DEV to QA through the regular BW transports. We have configured all the required roles in QA but when try to open the system we get a message "No reports are available in the system to publish". But these reports are available to view from the SAP GUI menu list in QA. I tried to open the report from crystal report, but i get an error message "An error occured while updating the report's parameter pick lists"

Hi,

I don't know much but giving thoughts.

Is your QA exact copy of your Dev?

Did you check if they are transported to right place?

I was also reading somewhere that support package should also match on both system.

Hi Venkat,

Make sure you transport the role along with your Crystal report .

If you are familiar with BW, then like workbooks, whenever you transport workbook, you need to transport the role with it, to see workbook in next system.

It works in similar fashion.

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestions. We are able to see the transported reports in the next system. It was the sequence the transports are organized that helped us to resolve the issue

Can you please let me know what was the sequence you followed while transporting Crystal report to different system?.
