TO Created even if stock on hand is zero

Dear experts,

I have a situation where my Onhand stock balance is zero for a maertail X.

I created a sales order and then a delivery

I can see that TO was also created.

How is this possible? How can I ensure that TO was not created if my stock on hand is zero?

Hi,

This could be because of storage type settings.

Check if allow negative stock is checked for storage type from which the stock is picked.If yes,It could allow you to create TO even when qty is 0.

Hi All,

'TO' was created and I even confirmed TO. Now "Overall pick status" shows "fully picked" in VL03N. However Stock balance is still "zero". How is this possible? What could be the settings for this?

And why the status is fully picked when I do not have material physically at my warehouse?

you may save the delivery...but you can not do PGI... try to do PGI and reply.

Hi,

You can create a TO. Try to confirm the TO, it will not allow. For confirming the TO, the stock should be available in the warehouse in the relevant storage bins.
