Error : Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled

Dear All,

While processing MR8M I am getting the above mentioned error.

I have checked the following:-

1] G/L Account is mentioned for Document Splitting.

2] Document Types specified for Document Splitting even the reversal document type is mentioned.

3] Document Splitting Characteristics - Profit Centre Tick is present.

4] Document Splitting Method - Inheritance Tick is present.

Could you help me in identifying the probable reason for this.

Hi Guys,

The error has been resolved by me.

The reversal document type was 0000 & I changed it to 0300.

Hi Gaurav,

Thanks for the reply but I have checked both the materials, and it is having the profit centre field.

I am trying to reverse the document. If it wouldnt have had the profit centre in the material, then it wouldnt have allowed me to post the document in the first place.

Please check whether the material master is having the profit center assigned or not.
