Hi,

I would like to clarify on how to avoid this error or why the error is being encountered . Example in ME21N, once I enter the internal order in the account assignment tab then changes the value with a different internal order that has a different business area. It would encounter this error. Is this a standard behavior? Or is there a way to avoid it?

Please see attached screenshot for reference of the error.order.png

Thanks and Regards,
Luiz Carlos

Hi There,

System is comparing the order with Business area, both belongs to different controlling area this is why you are getting this error!

Thanks,

Hello Luiz,

Error KI 188 is issued as designed. It is generally triggered from program LKAIPF1D. As I can see in this program, KI 188 is a hard-coded error in this case.
