how to close open po

hi,

i receive the 10 items against purchase order,after quality decision i rejected 2 items ,so on-order stock increased for material.After period of time i want to close the PO,if i do so then what is the procedure to reduce the onorder stock and close the po.

Hello,

You may set delivery completion indicator for the PO at line item level so that balance quanity will not be counted as open order quantity.

Hi,

Yes it is possible to set the "delivery completed" indicator in stock transfer items only if the sum of the goods issue

quantities in the supplying plant equals the sum of the goods receipt quantities in the receiving plant and the sum of the delivery note quantities is equal to the sum of the goods receipt quantities.

Hi

You have to amend the PO. which means, reduce the PO qty by 2 pc. So it will not show any more on-order qty.
