Authorizations for Master Layout

Hello guys,

does anybody know which authorization is necessary in C4C to adapt the master layout? A specific user group should be able to edit master layout to add embedded reports, but they should not be able to do fine-tuning and so on. So I do not want to give them general administrator rights. So which authorizations object is specified for master layout adaptation?

Hello Anne,

to adapt master layout (and page layouts) the "adapt" button has to be available for a user. This is linked to the work center view "Flexibiliy Change Log" in the work center "Administrator". As soon, as a user has assigned this WCV, he will see the adapt button and be able to use all the functions underneath:

If you want somebody to have any access to the adaptation of the master layout but e.g. not to the adaptation of company settings or page layouts, than this is not possible to be setup.
