Reservation for Unrestricted-use Stock Only!

Dear Gurus,

I want this that system should only reserve the stock available in unrestrcited use stock only when creating a reservation in MB21.

Kindly help me what settings should i do to make this possible.

Hi,

In SAP a reservation is a kind of requirement. So it is not doing ATP to reserve only what's in stock, but rather creates a requirement for the replenishment of anaivalable stock.

Please explain in more detail your business situation, since maybe other solutions could prove more suitable.
