SPAM hangs during ST-ICO patching to SP24

Hi All,

Our Solution Manager system which is currently in 7.0 EHP1 on Max DB 7.7 on windows Server 2008.

During the patching of the Solution Manager to SPS 24, on the ABAP stack all the components have been patched to SPS24 and the only pending is ST-ICO which is being patched from SP 18 to SP 24.

But, suddenly, the SPAM keeps hanging in the same state without any changes and i am unable to login to the ABAP stack as it is continuosly showing as connecting.

When trying to access the Java stack, i am getting the index page though.

Also, using R3trans -d it is showing as not able to connect to DB.

Please share any solutions for this issue .
