Hi SAP Experts,

I wanted to configure a requirement in the cases when an female employee can flexibly take the extended eight weeks (9th to 16th week) of maternity leave over a 12 month period after the child's birth.

Is there any way i can configure this requirement?

Pls help , thanks.

Anyways, i've configured maternity leave with base entitlement of 16 weeks related to the calendar year.

And i'd defined how many weeks before, and how many weeks after an employee is allowed to take before and after the delivery.

Why dont you cofigure Infotype 0080.

This might suffice your requirement.

hi, how can i configure IT0008 for my requirement?

I can only see the possible thing for me to configure which is wage type.

But i don get it how i can make the maternity leave to be taken flexibly.

Pls help, thanks.

have you checked the configuration 00080, where you can define this!

An additional quota can be defined for the extended leave. This quota can be created in IT 2006 by a dynamic action (T588Z) on the basis of change in IT 0002 (gender and change in number of children as further checks).

The absence type for maternity leave can then be linked to this additional quota so as to deduct from it once the normal quota is deducted for maternity leave.

Is my function character of step to be 00 ?

And then indicator for step to be "P" ?

and pls provide guidance for Variable function part.
