Adapter Module

Dear Experts,

I need to develop an Adapter Module to generate Dynamic email Attachment name.

We have PI 7.0 service pack 13. But I have Netweaver 7.1 Developer Studio SP07which is running on JDK 1.6.

Will my adapter module get deployed on the XI server or will it cause a version issue?

Please suggest.

If you follow the proper methode of developing a module, you module will gett deployed without any problem. There is sample module given by SAP you can refer them to develop module. And there are many Artcles available on SDN for the same.

I beleive you can change the name of attachment in message mapping also.

Hi,

The general rule of thumb is to use the same version for SAP and NWDS components checked in to the track, as the run time system, the application is supposed to run on, is using.

For your case, I am not too sure but I think it should be okay. The other way around (PI 7.1 and NWSD 7.0) would have been a problem.
