transfer quantity from unrestricted use to GR locked stock

which movement type or which procedure do you use to transfer quantity of material from unrestricted use to GR locked stock?as we didn't goods receipt of P.O by MVT103

Hi,

GR blocked stock is the stock which can performed during Goods receipt against PO you can use movt type 103 for this cane performed in order to receipt the material bit due to non availability of invoice or test certificate or some parking issue the Goods can be blocked the same Production team can view & depending upon the urgency material can be in warded. But once material is in warded it will be posted to either unrestricted or Quality stock depending upon the setting you had made. But you can not move the unrestricted stock to GR blocked stock still you can move it to blocked stock using MB1B and use movt type 344.

If you did mistake in GR to unrestricted, reverse the GR in MIGO by canceling the material document, and then do GR again with movement 103, which will receive stock in GR blocked stock. Hope this helps you.

thanks for reply,actually i want to transfer material from my company to out without invoice document please guid me how can i send material from one storage location to out or vendor without invoice document

Hi

You wants to send the material to vendor without invoice which is possible but ensure the below thing before sending it to vendor.

1) Whether the material is Excisable, if it is Excisable then you can send it against 57 F (4) Challan using t code J1IF01 but before that you have to create material document with appropriate movt type. But in system it will shows as qty due for reversal and it has to be reverse within 180 days as per Govt norms. If you are not expecting the material back then do statically GR & complete challan using t code J1IFQ then stock will up in the inventory management then issue the material to dummy cost center to reduces the stock in inventory. In this way challan will also completes & inventory will also match.

2) If Material is non Excisable then you can send it as returnable material

3) If it is non returnable material then you have to issue to any dummy cost center then send it to the vendor as Non returnable material.

i have short question:how can i send to vendor one material(type of ROH) without chane material type as returnable material?

You can transfer your goods from unrestricted to blocked stock, not to GR blocked stock. If you did mistake in GR to unrestricted, reverse the GR in MIGO by cancelling the material document, and then do GR again with movement 103, which will receive stock in GR BLOCKED STOCK.
