SAC Storyboard to be executed for previous month by default with BW live data connection??

Hello,

We are using SAP BW Queries as data source using live data connection for storyboards. We are using BEx query variable as story level filter for Reporting Month and year. Our requirement is that whenever the user opens the story board it should load the data for the previous month. For example if I am opening the storyboard today in February, it should pass the variable value as Jan 2019.

We tried with the customer exit variables in BEx, but it retrieves the data for the month which we last saved in storyboard.

Is there any solution for this?

Hi Akash,

try to use customer exit variable. In definition of the variable do not mark option "variable is ready for input"

Then this variable isn't shown in input screen and isn't stored in story.

Hi Akash,

Consider adding the variable exit to the query filter, not the story board filter.

It may be the case that the query selection values are being retained as the story board issaved.

Always filter at the lowest possible level.
