Steps to configure cloudera simba impala jdbc 1.0 with SAP BI 4.1 IDT

Hi All,

We are tying to configure cloudera simba impala connectivity with SAP BI 4.1 Information design tool. Test connection fails with various error messages. May be we are missing few configuration steps. The data access guide mentions no additional configuration with respect to samba impala jdbc drivers.

We are experiencing errors related to kerberos authentication. What are the steps required to configure the connection with cloudera.

Kindly provide some insight.

I have the same issue with SAP BI 4.2 IDT with BO Server on LINUX.

It seems that the drivers come pre-installed for both IDT client tools and the server.

So how do we configure them to connect to Cloudera?

Is there a step-by-step guide for configuring Cloudera connections in this scenario?
