Multiple Specification Qualitative characteristic not Auto Valuating

I have created a Qualitative characteristic and wish it to be Auto Valuated as a multiple specification. In both the characteristic and the multiple spec the desired outcome is Pass.

Currently during the inspection completion it will not auto valuateon the multiple spec portion and must be manually valuated. The system displays

• Lightning: At least one specification could not be valuated

Currently the sampling procedure is Qualitative, Fixed n=1,Free Insp Pts..

Sampling type - fixed

Valuation mode - Valuation according to char.attrib code.

I attempted to create a new sampling procedure using 'mean value within toleratnce range' but I then recieved this message

'You have specified a sampling procedure with the valuation mode 700. This valuation mode does not match the inspection characteristic.'

Check with SAP. This was a known issue years ago. I believe there might be an OSS note on this.
