ERROR: License File Hardware Key does not match License Service

I have 8.8 PL11 installed. I have a professional user license key. I updated my license to include a limited logistics user.

When I attempt to import new license file I get the error: License File Hardware Key does not match License Service.

How do I change out the license key?

for the problem that u are facing u would have to request for a change licence key from sap stating the exact cause and correct hardware key and would get the new licence within 5 mins

the things u need to note is if u are a client than u need to contact your sap b1 partner for licence and if u are the partner u can directly download it from sao support site by using your S user id

Hi Stephanie,

Please double check you are asking a license key file for the right implementation by checking the hardware key of the license you are asking corresponds to your license server hardware key.
