Hello All,

Could anyone please through some light on below requirement.It is very urgent.Please respond at the earliest.

Requirement:

Sender(ECC) is triggering a proxy will some fields and SAP PI places the file at FTP server after transformation.Once the file is successfully placed at the FTP server then a response has to be send to ECC with the filename and the same incase of failure as well.

I have followed the below blogs,but still didn't work:

https://docplayer.net/33238831-Async-sync-and-sync-async-bridge-scenarios-configuring-async-sync-bri...

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/Step+by+step+guide+on+Sync+Async+Bridge+without+BPM

I have followd the approach as-is,but it is not triggering the second ICO.Also i could see in one blog the Oneway request Bean is placed at sender side andin other blog it is in Receiver side.

Please help me ?

Dear Santhoshi,

According to your description, you are configuring sync/async bridge as follow:

Proxy(sync) -> File(async)->File(async)-> Proxy(sync)

For such sync/async bridge scenario, one should configure request oneway bean at sender synchronous adapter. Also as you are using synchronous sender that wait for the response, one should also configure wait response bean, and set a timeout value, so that the processing won't hanging endlessly, if the target can't response the request. For more details, I would suggest you follow below SAP wiki:

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/Step+by+step+guide+on+Sync+Async+Bridge+without+BPM

You should configure a dummy receiver adapter for 2nd ICO.

Best Regards,

Ray
