Migration tool from SAP to Maximo

Hi,

Just need to know is it possible to migrate all the methods and collections from SAP to maximo.I hope there must be something similar to "migration cockpit tool" for S4 HANA. If so then please let me know.

Point here is, I need the UI5 application to work in maximo seamlessly on porting it from SAP.

I assume, I need to map all the respective fields in SAP to maximo, for my UI application to work without any change.

I am newbie to this place, please advice

Having work on both Maximo, SAP backend and UI items, my best suggestion on your option are as follows:

1) Regarding a quick tool port from SAP to Maximo, that application does not exist as the business model to move away from SAP to IBM may be limited inside SAP.

2) The options for a new person to do a SAP Work Manager SAP version to Maximo is to simply study the Maximo backend requirements when completing a Workorder and utilize their businessobject.jar file (to study the interface) of how Maximo is configured.

3) Then use SAP Cloud Platform WebIDE or your favorite IDE to import the SAPUI5 SDK to develop the needed client. Then you will import the needed businessobject.jar file of Maximo then try to see if you can create your workflow.

4) This is if you want your own UI design. Option 1 (This is literally starting from scratch).

Another option 2:

1) SAP has an older SAP Work Manager for IBM Maximo.

2) You may try to just update the needed libraries and recompile each of that SAP Work Manager with the new Businessobject of Maximo.

3) With respect to the UI design. You may use the Agentry client that exist in the SAP Mobile Platform SDK to make it easier.

4) Any other customization you may try the Agentry openUI part.

5) Other companies may have tried this and this option may be much easier than option 1 above.

6) The only issue here is that the SAP Work Manager for Maximo is deprecated and you may have issues downloading it from SAP software download.

I hope this should help you out. Please note that there are also others who have done this in the community and other third party consultants.

There should be other consultants or system integrator companies who have tried it out.

Some other people may share their experience.
