SRM-SUS: XI guide to setup BBP_PARTNER_SEND

Hi Gurus,

We are implementing SRM-SUS 7.0 (PDP scenario). Part of the requirement is to send vendor updates back to our ECC6.0 box. We are trying to use BBP_PARTNER_SEND for this. We have already configured the connectivity between SUS to PI and to ECC.

Our problem is the PI config. We dont know what config scenario to use to make BBP_PARTNER_SEND work. It will be helpful if you guys can send me a guide or documentation or link for this XI settings.

Hi,

I am not very sure about this.

But you could try using Supply_base_management scenario from PI.

Thanks Nikhil. Excellent, this solved the issue!!

Is there a fast way to find which scenario has our requirements? It seemed that finding the solution is always through reverse engineering. For example, for BBP_PARNTER_SEND, I will not know that I need ABABusinessPartnerOut unless I check it from SXMB_MONI in SUS. Then, in PI, I need to find in ESR which business scenarios has ABABusinessPartnerOut as inbound interface and confirm that the outbound interface is Z_CREMAS_SUSMM. Also, there is no documentation for each services and mapping.

This issue could have easily been solved if there is a guide somewhere for such config.

I'll try to collate a doc for this so that others having the same issue will benefit from this.
