Q2 Functional Changes_HIRE ACt

Hi,

We are ready to implement Q2 functional changes. We implemented following OSS notes:

1. 1480943 - Q2/2010: Functional changes for U.S.Tax Reporter.

2. 1481849 - Form 941: Bug fixes after HIRE Act implementation

3. 1472633 - CONS: HIRE Act: New Form 941 effective second quarter 2010.

As per the 2nd and 3rd note there is manual config we need to perform. I was performing the config from 2nd note which says to go to SFP, open form HR_F_941_10 for editing, type "fb_xdp_up" in the text box located in the left upper corner and

upload the xdp file "HR_F_941_10.XDP" attached to this note.

I was in SFP but I couldn't see text box option.

Also I was maintaining feature 10HAR. I went to see documentation of the feature and it said please contact system administrator.

Is it necessary to perform these changes to HR_F_941_10?

Hello Mayuresh,

The changes provided are little bit weired this time.

Well, the text box is the command box. You have to type fb_xdp_up in command box and then hit enter. It will open one pop window and then upload the file.

Rest of the steps are given in the note.

The documentation for 10HAR is in note 1472633.

Yes it is necessary to apply these changes because the form 941 is changed.

We have applied the note 1472633 for the Q2 Functional changes. We did not apply any other note other than 1472633. When I try to test run I got an abap error saying that "no function module exists with the name "HR_US_GET_HIREACT2010_QUALIFYD". Whether we are missing any note or any other manual config. Also I did not see the Feature 10HAR in the table. Please suggest what to do.

Hey Kumar,

You need to implement below notes.

These notes contains all the necessary steps for manual config.

Thanks for your reply. As suggested by you we have implemented the three Notes but still we are facing

the problem and we do not see the form 941 for the Q2 2010. Whether we have to install "Advanced

Delivery file' '600_SYST.zip' ? If so how to unzip the .L7D file extn. I am not able to unzip

and read the file. Also when I try to add manual configuration fields ex:'EW12' 'EW1Q', I got an error

"no function module exists with the name "HR_US_GET_HIREACT2010_QUALIFYD". Please help.

What about applying note 1474009 and 1481849 in addtion to 1472633? We are also planning to apply the Hire Act notes but given the dates and when all the notes were released, we are unsure which notes should be applied first.

Please clerify what note needs to be applied and in what order for implement the Hire Act changes correctly.

Please apply the above two notes and the second one is version 8. Then there is an attachment in 1472633 that has to be downloaded and imported to your development client ( Basis) will do this and they will create a transport that has to be transported to the other clients. This will solve your problem.
