To lock production version

Hi Gurus,

While running standard costing, system consider 1st available version only. We need 2nd version for standar costing, so if we inactive 1st and 3rd alternative BOM system will consider 2nd for standard cost calculation. So we need to inactive or lock the 1st and 3rd production version. When i try to lock that lock field is in greyed. How we can lock and unlock the production version

Two ways to run costing Material level & PV level

in CK11N just check third tab you can get option PV

Here give PV2 & run costing

Hi ,

Use C223 transction ,here put Plant and materil for which 3 Pv are created.

And set Lock for othere users,Please revertback if needed (Please you are in change mode)

I am i n g=change mode but the field lock is still greyed. Where i can change the lock or can i inactive the 1st and 3rd alternative BOM

Hi ,

You can Control this with validity date from (Change valid from date in future) for 1st and 3rd PV .system will consider only 2nd PV for current mont costing,

For the fild Lock grayed out , click on Production version and check .

Hi ,

In production version locking field is greyed. Now one more question if i have 3 alternative BOm and system need to select the 2nd alternative BOM for standard costing without entering manually in CK11N. How can i do or how can i lock the other 2 alternative BOMs
