Issue on new asset accounting - ACC_AA167

Hello All,

We are trying to implement new asset accounting. In the preparation phase we provide ledger group for each area. My concern is on old company. We have in our system some old companies not included in newGL (not migrated not implemented in NewGL).

In ths case, we have an error message :

Chart of dep. SE01: Ledger L2 is not defined in company code XXXX

Message no. ACC_AA167

Diagnosis

A ledger group is assigned in chart of depreciation SE01 that contains the representative Ledger L2.

However, this ledger is not assigned to company code XXXX, or it is deactivated for the current fiscal year of company code XXXX.

System Response

• The system issues this error message if you execute program RASFIN_MIGR_PRECHECK.

• If you make changes in Customizing, they cannot be saved.

• If you post a document, the posting is terminated.

Procedure

Check the ledger assigned to your company code; check it in the general ledger and in Asset Accounting (in the chart of depreciation).
