internal error -10 at random


I have a new laptop with Windows 10 professional 64bit, that I installed the B1 client on (version 8.8 pl 12). Two or three times a day the client throws an "Internal error -10" error without apparent cause, and needs to be restarted.

What I have tried:

  • Delete the SM_OBS_DLL folder
  • Uninstall and reinstall the DI API
  • Turn off wifi on the laptop
  • Replace the network cable

Any help or thoughts appreciated.



P.S. I am aware that version 8.8 is not supported on Windows 10

    Have you tried to change the compatibility mode for the application.
