How to increase the field length ?

Hi All,

I am new to SAP so please help me.

Can you please let me know how to increase the field length of any particular screen field.Currently particular field is accepting 30 chars but my client is asking to increase it to 40 chars.

for which field in which tcode?

you must serach in transaction cmod or se19 for screen-exits

Hi,

As per your query pls contact to abaper he will guide you exactly. This is very well possible. As per my knowledge you can create new field with start from z and assign.
