Does solution manager 7.1 supports monitoring of Netweaver 7.5?

Hello All,

We need to configure some systems which are on Netweaver 7.5 and we are using Solution Manager SP13. Does this version of solution manager supports monitoring of Netweaver 7.5?

Anyone know anythis about it........

Thanks for the reply. The Notes were very helpful.But even after following the steps suggested in Notes we still have the issue. There is no option to assign any template to instance. i am attaching the screenshot.

Hi Aditya,

You need to upgrade to Solman 7.1 SP14 or 7.2 as per notes shared already, have you done that?

It is given in the note that there is support for Netweaver 7.5 ABAP in Solman 7.1 SP13 and we are on the same level.

Hi Aditya,

NW 7.5 monitoring templates (especially Java based) are supported from SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP14. Also, make sure your monitoring content is up to date in solution manager.

Updating CR content and monitoring content is a must to avoid such issues.

I have tried a lot of correction and notes but my issue is still there as i am not able to assign templates to the instance.

kindly suggest some solutions.

Hi Aditya,

Can you check in Step# 2.7 (Update Content) of technical monitoring guided procedure? If the content is updated or not. If not, please update the content. If issue persists, I suggest you check the landscape verification for this system in LMDB.

Hi all,

As Shahid says, this is probably caused by an outdated Monitoring Content installed in the system. I highly recommend you to look up the following SAP KBA:

2351440 - SOLMAN_SETUP: Missing installed products in step “6. Setup Monitoring”

I would also recommend you to pay special attention to the last part of the KBA, where is explained how to resolve the problems related to the RCD content.
